European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC)

A Cultural Route highlighting the cultural values, heritage and legacy of Saint Paul’s missions to Europe,
to honour Saint Paul, as the Apostle of the nations, through his epistles and intangible heritage in literature, arts, history, philosophy, theology and Christianity in Europe,
towards regenerating the European ideals, with sustainable cultural tourism development and promotion along the route in several countries, regions, cities, islands, local communities and tourist destinations

Third Mission (to Greece)

From Ephesus, Paul sailed to islands of Chios and Mytilini (acts 20:14). Paul went through Macedonia, Thessaloniki and Veria, into Achaea and stayed in Greece, probably Corinth, for three months during 56–57 AD.

Commentators generally agree that Paul dictated his Epistle to the Romans during this period.

On their way back to Jerusalem, Paul and his companions visited islands of Samos, Cos and Rhodes (Lindos port).

It is also alleged that Paul went to Illiria (Albania) and Dalmatia (Croatia).
